Combining it with a peel enhances skin rejuvenation for even better results. For the best outcome, a series of 4 to 6 treatments is usually recommended, with sessions spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart.

What results and level of aftercare can be expected?

After your microneedling procedure, it is important to avoid direct sun exposure for at least 24 hours. As your skin’s pores are open and more vulnerable to bacteria and toxins after treatment, it’s best to skip makeup and active skincare ingredients (like Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Retinol, and similar products) during the recovery period. To prevent irritation or infection, also refrain from strenuous activities that cause sweating.

What are the side effects of Dermapen 4 microneedling?

Dermapen 4 microneedling is generally considered safe, with only mild side effects. These include temporary redness, minor swelling, and a sunburn-like sensation, usually lasting 24 to 48 hours. Some patients may experience peeling or flakiness as their skin heals. Those with sensitive skin may have minor bruising or bumps. However, proper post-treatment care, like moisturising and avoiding UV exposure, helps minimise the side effects. If opting for a peel after your microneedling session, your skin may feel dry and start to peel as it heals. Bruising is rare but can occur, especially in sensitive skin. However, all side effects are typically short-lived, and most patients can return to normal activities quickly.

Yes, we do. However, to secure a consultation with one of our aesthetic specialists, a deposit of £100 is required. This deposit is credited towards the cost of your treatment on the day or in the near future (meaning you won’t be charged for the consultation alone). If you choose to only consult with us about the treatment, the deposit will be deducted from your consultation fee.

Before any treatment can be recommended, House Of Saab requires you to attend a consultation. During your session, we will discuss your concerns and expected outcomes, and determine your suitability. Treatment options depend on various factors, which will be assessed from a medical perspective. It’s important to have realistic expectations, as individual results can vary.

Mild wrinkles, minor acne scars, or general skin rejuvenation may show significant improvement with 3 to 4 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.

Moderate wrinkles, acne scars, or more noticeable skin texture issues often require a series of 4 to 6 sessions, typically spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart.

Deep wrinkles, prominent acne scars, or severe uneven skin texture may need 6 or more sessions. These are usually scheduled closer together initially and then spaced out as improvements are seen.

To sustain results, some people choose regular maintenance sessions every 8 weeks after completing the initial series.

During your procedure, you might experience a tingling or pricking sensation. The discomfort is typically short-lived and manageable.
