what is Dermapen4 microneedling & MD scar peel treatment?

Dermapen 4 microneedling is an advanced cosmetic procedure that uses a pen-like device equipped with fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin’s surface. This process stimulates the body’s natural healing response, promoting collagen and elastin production.Followed by  MD Scar Peel treatment, also known as medical-grade chemical peel,  It involves exfoliating the outer layers. This controlled exfoliation can reduce the appearance of scars, including acne scars, and promote skin renewal. The treatment helps in achieving a smoother skin texture and a more even complexion by addressing scarred areas.

What results and level of aftercare are expected?

It is best to leave the treated area alone for up to 6 hours after treatment, to allow for the product to settle effectively in place. This will also help to reduce the risk of bruising or swelling spreading to other areas. Heavy lifting and working out will also need to be avoided for the first 24 hours. Cleanse gently and avoid harsh products for a few days after the procedure.Refrain from using makeup for at least 24 hours post-procedure. Avoid strong skincare products and exfoliants for a few days. Results continue to enhance over several weeks.

What are the side effects of this treatment?

Combined Dermapen4 microneedling and MD Scar Peel treatments are generally safe. Mild to moderate redness in the treated area, which usually subsides within a few days. Some swelling, especially around the eyes, can occur but typically resolves within a day or two. The skin may feel dry and start to peel as it heals. This is a natural part of the skin renewal process. The treated skin may be more sensitive than usual, particularly to sun exposure. It’s important to wear sunscreen and avoid direct sunlight. Bruising is rare but can occur, especially in individuals with sensitive skin or those prone to bruising.

Yes we do, you are only required to pay a Deposit of £100 to secure a consultation with our aesthetic specialists, which is credited towards the cost of your treatment on the day or in near future, so you are not charged for consultation alone. However, should you wish to only consult us on the treatment, the deposit is deducted for consultation rate!

Before any treatment can be recommended, House of Saab will require you to attend a consultation. This session will discuss your concerns and expected outcome, and your suitability will then be determined. The treatment applications depend on a variety of factors that should be further assessed from a medical point of view.It’s important to have realistic expectations about the potential outcomes, as individual results can vary.

Microneedling treatments can cause discomfort, but a numbing cream is applied before the procedure to minimize pain if needed. During the treatment, you may feel a tingling or pricking sensation. Discomfort is usually short-lived and manageable. Adjustments can be made by our practitioners for individual comfort, and many find the results make the temporary discomfort worthwhile.

The number of sessions for combined Dermapen 4 microneedling and MD Peel treatments can vary based on individual skin concerns, severity of issues, and desired results. To see optimal results a minimum of 4 to 6 sessions are required, spaced at least two to four weeks apart.

Unfortunately this treatment is not safe during both pregnancy or breastfeeding and we are NOT able to offer it, even at your own risk or discretion! You will need to share any allergy information with your practitioner so as to reduce the risk of reacting to any of the ingredients. Swelling, bruising and redness may appear at the treated site, which will usually have subsided within a couple of days.
