OVERVIEW

What is a prx t33 peel treatment?

PRX-T33 is a non-invasive bio revitalisation peel that improves skin texture, hydration, and radiance without traditional peeling or downtime. It contains trichloroacetic acid (TCA), hydrogen peroxide & kojic acid, which work together to stimulate collagen production and rejuvenate the skin. Unlike traditional peels, it penetrates deep into the skin without causing visible peeling, making it ideal for those seeking a refreshed, youthful look. PRX-T33 is perfect for treating pigmentation issues such as sunspots, melasma, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, helping to achieve a brighter, more even-toned complexion.

Doest it help with hyperpigmentation?

PRX-T33 is an excellent treatment for hyperpigmentation. It works by deeply penetrating the skin with a blend of trichloroacetic acid (TCA), hydrogen peroxide, and kojic acid, which help reduce excess melanin and promote cell renewal. Unlike traditional peels, it does not cause visible peeling, making it a gentle yet effective option for fading dark spots, melasma, and uneven skin tone. The treatment stimulates collagen production while brightening the skin, leading to a more radiant and uniform complexion. With multiple sessions, PRX-T33 helps achieve long-lasting improvement in pigmentation without significant downtime.

What results and level of aftercare are expected?

PRX-T33 delivers immediate skin brightness, improved hydration, and a smoother texture. Over multiple sessions, it reduces pigmentation, fine lines, and laxity while enhancing overall radiance. Unlike traditional peels, it does not cause significant peeling, but mild redness or tightness may occur temporarily. Aftercare is minimal but essential—patients should keep the skin well-hydrated, avoid sun exposure, and use SPF 50 daily to maintain results and prevent new pigmentation. Harsh skincare products, exfoliants, and retinoids should be avoided for a few days post-treatment.

What are the side effects of Prx Peel?

PRX-T33 is a gentle, non-invasive peel with minimal side effects, but some temporary reactions can occur. Common side effects include mild redness, tightness, and slight tingling immediately after treatment, which usually subside within a few hours. Some individuals may experience minor flaking or dryness, especially in areas with pigmentation. Rare side effects include temporary sensitivity or irritation, particularly for those with very reactive skin. To minimize risks, it’s essential to follow aftercare instructions, keep the skin hydrated, and avoid sun exposure.

FAQ

Yes we do, you are only required to pay a Deposit of £50 to secure a consultation with our doctor, which is credited towards the cost of your treatment on the day or in near future, so you are not charged for consultation alone. However, should you wish to only consult us on the treatment, the deposit is deducted for consultation rate!

PRX-T33 is suitable for most skin types, especially those looking to improve pigmentation, fine lines, dullness, and mild laxity without downtime. It’s ideal for treating melasma, sun damage, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. However, it may not be suitable for very sensitive skin, active acne, rosacea, or open wounds. Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals should also avoid it.

PRX-T33 is generally well-tolerated and does not cause significant pain. During the treatment, you may feel a mild tingling, warmth, or slight stinging as the solution penetrates the skin, but this sensation typically subsides quickly. Unlike traditional peels, it does not cause intense burning or discomfort. Any minor irritation usually fades within minutes after application.

For general skin rejuvenation, 2 to 4 sessions spaced one week apart are typically recommended. For hyperpigmentation, melasma, acne scars, or skin laxity, 4 to 6 sessions may be required for optimal results.

After a deep peel, your skin will typically feel tight, warm, and sensitive, similar to a sunburn. Redness, mild swelling, and a tingling sensation are common in the first few days. As the skin begins to heal, it may become dry, flaky, and start peeling, revealing new, smoother skin underneath. Some tightness or slight discomfort is normal but should gradually improve. Keeping the skin hydrated and protected with SPF is essential for healing and preventing irritation.

PRX-T33 is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. While it is a non-invasive peel, it contains active ingredients like trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and kojic acid, which may be absorbed into the skin. There is limited research on its safety for pregnant or breastfeeding individuals, so it is best to avoid the treatment during this time. Hormonal changes can also make the skin more sensitive, increasing the risk of irritation or pigmentation.
