What is jawline contouring?

The appearance of the face and its features can differ from one person to another, and we all have our own unique look. For some people, their facial characteristics are not always perceived as aesthetically pleasing and stronger, more defined features are desired. this non-surgical technique aims to address concerns such as sagging skin, loss of definition, or asymmetry along the jawline.

Does jawline contouring help with lower face asymmetry?

Jawline contouring can be an effective solution for addressing lower face asymmetry. By strategically injecting dermal fillers, our doctor can balance and sculpt the jawline, creating symmetry and harmony. The procedure involves precise adjustments to enhance the contours, providing a more even and proportionate appearance to the lower face. Jawline contouring not only contributes to facial symmetry but also helps in achieving a well-defined and youthful aesthetic.

FAQ

Jawline treatments are not advisable for individuals with severe allergies, and if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or under 18 years old, dermal fillers in any facial area should be avoided. The procedure necessitates an in-person consultation with one of our doctors, during which a thorough assessment will be carried out. A detailed conversation about precautions and contraindications will precede the treatment, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of individual health factors before proceeding.

You will be in safe hands when you visit House of Saab. Dermal fillers are used to balance and contour the features and are considered a safe and effective solution. The treatment is FDA approved and varying densities of filler are used to intensify the different features.

While the procedure may cause some discomfort, we alleviate this by applying a topical local anesthetic to minimise pain. Additionally, we use a dermal filler with a built-in anesthetic for added comfort during the process.

During a jawline filler procedure, our in house doctor begins with a thorough consultation to understand the individual’s goals and assess the jawline’s current structure. The treatment area is then cleansed, and a topical anesthetic will be applied to minimize discomfort. Using precise injection techniques, the filler is strategically placed along the jawline to enhance contours and provide a more defined appearance. The process involves meticulous adjustments to achieve symmetry and balance, contributing to an overall harmonious facial profile.

Most of our clients, here at House of Saab, experience very little downtime following the procedure. The face may feel tender in the first 24 – 48 hours after treatment, but this should not affect your ability to carry out normal daily functions, providing they are not too strenuous.
